Backpacker Jobs in Otautau, New Zealand
Otautau is a small place and can literally be called a place of milk and honey (dairy farms and honey production play a vital role in this area). The little village has less than 800 inhabitants, a small museum, and is the base for some jet adventures on nearby rivers. It is also a good base for exploring the outdoors, and is a good alternative for people who don't want to stay in the city Invercargill (about 40km south-east of Otautau). This village is busy with farming, milling, forestry, and honey. If you have a serious interest in any of these activities, you might be able to find an appropriate job. Other jobs can come up every now and then, but it is not your best bet for a short-term job.
