Couple For Busy Holiday Resort - With Accommodation Options

We are looking for full time Resort All-Rounders to get us through our busy Summer Season. Some of the roles you may work in are outlined below:

Bar/Cafe Resort Assistant: The tropical beating heart of Lake Taupo Holiday Resort is the thermal lagoon pool and swim-up bar. Think cocktails in geothermally heated water, with enough space for the kids to splash about or watch a movie on the big screen.The pool and bar/cafe team are the champions of cheeky drinks, tasty bites and together time – backed up with service that’s as friendly as Fiji. It’s also our duty to make sure everyone is safely enjoying the space.

Housekeeper in our Sparkling team: For the whole holiday to sparkle, the holiday home has to shine. And that’s where you come in. Our service team prepares the canvas for memorable holidays; ensuring our guest accommodation is immaculately cleaned, prepared, appointed and ready to make an outstanding first impression when guests arrive. If you are a team-playing clean freak with great attention to detail, a solid and reliable work ethic plus the ability to work alone & part of a team, we want you to join the crew.

Groundsmen/Amenities: enriches and grooms the setting to ensure the resort, its facilities and the environment create a place, and a space, where people can relax, bond and enjoy themselves together. This is a diverse role, requiring hands-on skills and the practicality to work safely and independently on tasks that span routine maintenance of property, gardens and equipment, to supporting in the completion of special projects such as installing new recreational facilities. As and when needed, you will also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of the Resort amenities and facilities. You will work with a like-minded crew of groundskeepers, reporting to the head of grounds.

Since many of our guests arrive and stay over the weekends, you will need to be available to work a mixture of weekends and weekdays on a flexible, changing roster.

Position will include onsite accommodation for a couple, with the responsibility of Night Duties during the week/weekends.
