The Landing Restaurant Group is after A Bar Person to work in the fabulous Westland Tai Poutini National Park ,

We  provide on-going training and support and puts it customers first in all considerations. We have a positive and professional culture and are looking for the right person to assist our team in delivering the excellent standards of service we are famous for.

Immediate Start. We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. You will need: must 18 years of age or more.

To have a positive attitude and approach to learning. 
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided .
To be able to work weekends .
Own transport is advantageous but not essential. 
To have a positive attitude and work ethic .
To be able to work in a high pressure, busy club environment and also provide high standards of customer service during our restaurant dinner service 
To be a team player.
What are we looking for in A Bar Person? 

We require this person to have:

-Previous experience in a similar Restaurant/Bar preferred but not required

-Confidence in communicating, both with guests and colleagues

-The ability to multitask whilst working in a fast-paced, busy environment -A passion for providing outstanding hospitality

This role may include an opportunity to participate in the South Westland Jobs For Nature Conservation and Tourism programme where normal work hours are insufficient. Where this opportunity arises it is expected that you will undertake Jobs For Nature tasks.

These tasks will depend on your interests and capabilities and could include:

Track upgrade and maintenance work
Weed Control
Computer based conservation tasks.”
Also if you are a couple then it works for you too as we can give same Rostered days off where you would get a chance to explore our beautiful area while you are here, there are plenty of walks , hikes , fishing all within short distance of the town. There is an option for onsite staff accommodation in one of our communal staff houses (private bedroom, communal cooking, social facilities), with a nominal rental deducted from wages Accomdation at market rate is available if needed
