RARE ADVENTURE NURSING OPPORTUNITY- Want to be in the sun instead of looking at it through a hospital window this summer? This is the role for you!

Seeking an RN to join a dynamic 24/7 community care team, to assist a young person live their best life everyday.

The Role: Community / Homecare Nurse- Paediatric Experience desirable
Duration: 6 months contract (or longer if you are seeking a permanent position)
Location: Auckland- the role will primarily start and finish in Auckland city, but role will include occasional overnight and multi day boating and travel adventures, including Waiheke and surrounds

We are seeking an RN to join a dynamic 24/7 community care team, to assist a young person with complex medical needs / disability- live their best life every day.

If you are a Registered Nurse who wants to take back your summer and enjoy many adventures whilst providing care to an 8 year old boy as he embarks on summer activities (multi-day boating & lots of other fun activities)

This is an autonomous role where you will be well supported by a Team Manager & Clinical Lead.
Ideally, you will have some paediatric experience, though exceptional relevant nursing skills in any area and a caring committed attitude are equally recognised. PEG experience is necessary, as is a full and current driver’s licence. Flexibility is required for travel adventures

What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga
• New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
• At least 2 years post registration, ideally in Paediatric
• PEG experience is necessary
• Full and current drivers licence
• Proven passion for and desire to provide outstanding care to patients
• Must have a valid CPR
• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to be eligible to work as a healthcare professional
