The opportunity
A “threader” (responsible for threading cloth) is a vital part of our horticulture team. The threader rolls out the cloth, measures and cuts both the cloth and wire to the correct length and then threads it through eyelets on the cloth ready for installation on the orchard site. Threaders need to possess a good eye for detail and the ability to work outdoors in all weather (rain or shine). They have to be dedicated to their work which is sometimes very repetitive.

Key things to know:
• On-site training will be provided by one of our experienced SABRE threaders.
• Orchard construction sites are located from Edgecumbe through to Katikati so travel may be required.
• Hours are typically Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm with some flexibility depending on the work required.
• We will be offering casual or part-time work opportunities.
