Travellers Autobarn is a global campervan rental company — born in Australia, now rolling across New Zealand, the U.S., and Japan. Our Auckland branch is looking for a practical, reliable, and friendly All-Rounder to help get campervans hire-ready.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. One moment you’ll be polishing headlights or swapping out wipers; the next you’ll be on the road dropping vans at COF, tyre, or repair shops. Every day you’ll be making sure our fleet is safe, compliant, and ready for travellers.

Who You Are

Practical, switched-on, and dependable — people trust you to get things done.

Handy with tools and confident doing small repairs (not a tradie, but DIY-savvy).

Organised and tidy — you take pride in doing things properly.

Happy working both independently and in a small, close-knit team.

What You’ll Do

Work through a vehicle safety checklist and carry out minor repairs (headlights, taillights, wipers, etc.).

Road-test vans and flag bigger jobs for our external mechanics and panel beaters.

Drop off and collect vehicles from local COF stations, tyre shops, and repairers.

Support the Branch Manager in keeping the fleet moving and hire-ready.

What You Bring

Must-haves:

A valid driver’s licence and clean record.

Hands-on skills — confident with tools, repairs, and problem-solving.

Good attention to detail and efficient work style.

Strong people skills — clear, warm, and easy to work with.

The legal right to work in New Zealand.

Nice-to-haves:

Experience in rentals, tourism.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office or rental systems.

A love for travel, vans, or the camping lifestyle.
