Beekeeping Assistants

Keepers Honey is a family-operated beekeeping company based in Dairy Flat, Auckland. We run over 2000 hives throughout the beautiful Auckland and Northland regions with a focus on honey production and pollination services.

We are looking for:
– Two people to join our tight-knit team through the upcoming Spring and Summer seasons (August – March)
– Lovers of the outdoors and physical work
– Excellent communicators and team players

Training and guidance will be provided for a range of jobs, including:
– Basic hive work
– Honey harvesting and processing
– Pollination hive migration (night work)
– Cleaning and restoring hive components

Applicants must have:
– A valid work visa
– Transportation and a valid driver’s licence
– A keen attitude to learn new skills
– Availability to work during the night and flexible hours for seasonal demands

$23.50 - $25.00 per hour. Weekly payslips.

Minimum hours: 35 per week
Maximum hours: 50 per week

Couples welcome to apply

Accommodation is available for $150 per week ($210 couple)
– Private room with shared bathroom and kitchen
– Power and internet included
– Beautiful countryside location with native bush and gardens (15 min travel to work)
