Farm & Home Help Work Opportunity in New Zealand – Live & Work on a Beautiful Farm!

Are you looking for a farm where you can work with a positive team and enjoy learning? We’re looking for two people who are hard-working, positive team players to join us in our like minded team. Ideally we will have one person who is solely on farm, and one who does house help including cooking, organising, light cleaning and caring for kids and taking them to activities - this role could also have an aspect of farm work.

The roles start early August, but is open anytime from now. We could employ for these roles individually, or they could suit a couple (or could be friends). We are looking for a commitment until at least the end of September, but could be longer term, especially for someone with dairy experience looking for a higher role.

We prefer experience, but no worries if you're new to farming but bring some other relevant skills! If you're fit, strong, eager to learn, don't mind early mornings and a physical job, and have some relevant skills to bring such as mechanical or experience working in a fast paced physical role, then we’re happy to train you and help you get up to speed.

- A desire to take responsibility and enjoy working with systems

The farm role role will include a mix of tasks, depending on your experience and how quickly you pick things up:

- Milking cows, shed duties, & general farm maintenance
- Allocating feed
- Calf rearing and calving tasks
- Tractor work and other farm duties

What We Offer You:

- Fair pay starting at $24/hour + holiday pay (higher rate if you bring direct experience)
- 5 days off every 3 weeks – taken as 1 or 2 days at a time, giving you flexibility to explore!

Requirements:

- You must be eligible to work in New Zealand & available to start between now and & 11th August
- Have your own transport (we’re not close to public transport)
