Farm Assistant - Farmhand
We are seeking someone to help on our sheep and cattle farm. Tasks may include – feeding out, electric fencing, mustering, crutching, drenching etc. plus helping with the many other tasks around the farm, garden and homestead. The farm is an attractive valley with great views, expansive skies and access to the top of the range.
Immediate start required and preferably you are able to be with us for several months.

Ideally you have experience with sheep /other animals and like caring for animals and being outdoors, along with; being quick to learn, have good communication skills, good humoured, happy to help out where it is needed and have a good work ethic. Practical skills such as fencing and carpentry would be a plus. The ability to drive a manual 4 WD with trailer is required and able to ride a motorbike may be useful.

We can offer $25.50 dollars /hr including holiday pay. There will be some long days and weekend work.

If you have your own accommodation eg van or campervan that’s great and/ or if you need accommodation there may be a caravan available. You will need to have your own transport.
