Farm Assistant at Ashridge Farm (Galatea, Bay of Plenty)

Job Description

We are looking for a couple , or single person that could help milking, calving, driving tractors experience would be good , but some training is available if no experience with machinery, must love animals and be willing to work long hours through the spring , July until October is very busy. But very rewarding working with a great team, we have fun, and we all work together , must be able to drive a motorbike, four wheelers or side by side, or two wheeler.
Accommodation is available to the right person.
We milk 550 cows through a 40 a side herringbone cowshed. Lovely area, bush and trout fishing on farm. Lovely beaches and rivers and hot pools near by.

We are a farming family milking 550 dairy cows in the Bay of Plenty, near Rotorua, been on the same farm for 25 years. We also have a kiwifruit orchard in Te Puke, we pride ourselves in looking after our staff and treat them like family.
