Job Description
Crepes a la Cart is a bespoke food cart, located along the Queenstown lakefront. We create crepes to order, using locally grown and produced ingredients. We have a passion for plant-based food, and it shows! All our crepe mix is plant-based as our the majority of our toppings!
We are hiring an experienced commercial cook to join our boutique crepe cart!
Non-Negotiables
This is a skilled position requiring proven capability and customer rapport.
- Strong knowConfidentledge of food safety, food handling and hygiene standards (NZ food control plan understanding preferred)
- Confident front-of-house presence: this is a live cooking in front of customers – you must be personable, presentable and professional.
- Comfortable working solo and with minimal supervision.
- Physical capability to move the cart to/from storage
- Reliability, integrity
The Role:
- food prep, cooking and serving customers directly.
- managing pace during busy trading periods
Handling EFTPOS/Cash transactions - Keeping to high cleanliness standards within a small space.
- Set up and breakdown of cart, relocation of cart within an 800 meter distance.
Details:
Location: Queenstown Waterfront and CBD
Hours: Part-time to start, potential for more
Pay: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
