Developing Parenting Workshops/ Kids Activities/food Forest Planting

We are organizing a parenting workshop/ activities program for
parents, focusing on alternatives to 'devices'.

Activities will include bush crafts, food forest concept/planting, identifying
medicinal plants, making balms and tinctures.
We need all sorts of help from volunteers in preparing the gardens.
to builders, teachers, psychologsts, and trades people, who share a vision to make a
difference in the lives of children in Whangaei who are disconnected from nature.

Our mission to help families navigate their way through parenting in the digital age
and refocusing on connecting back with nature.

Accommodation and food is provided. in exchange for 4 hours a day.
We ask for a minimum one week commitment. Start immediately.

Our location is a between a private home in Onerahi, a coastal village on
the fringe of Whangarei. to a .250 acre coastal bush valley across from
the beach, 10 minutes up the coast.

4 -5 hours a day. Hours worked over the 4 hour exchange, will be paid at NZ minimum
wage.

No experience required, but it will sure help! You must have a willingness to
learn and pitch in to help to prepare for this program. Gardening and putting in a winter garden, pruning fruit trees, household tasks and interviewing workshop leaders are the current projects.

Required A good sense of humour, team player , kind and empathetic
nature, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
