40-50 H/w Au Pair + Farm Work

Glynleith Farms Taupo, Waikato

Job Description

Wanted ASAP!

Want to have the ultimate kiwi OE experience looking after some awesome kids plus the chance to do some farm work?

We are looking for a superstar all rounder to come and help look after our children on our dairy farm just north of Taupo, New Zealand, plus do the occasional milking to fill in for other staff on their days off.

We are looking for someone to start ASAP as our current au pair has had to return home at short notice due to a family emergency. We would prefer a longer term stay but would be open to something short term.

We are a fun, active and easy going Kiwi family. Our farm is on the banks of the beautiful Lake Atiamuri so great if you love water sports, swimming & the outdoors. Mum (Chloe) runs a brewery in Taupo and Dad (Matt) runs our two dairy farms.

You will mostly be spending time with our happy little 9 month old son, as well as a small amount of time with our awesome 4 and 2 year old when they are not at kindy. 5 days per week plus the occasional evening, as well as milking occasionally (approximately 30-50h p/w depending on how much travel you want to do). Some housework required (laundry, tidying kids stuff etc...) while the baby is sleeping and cooking occassionally.

You will have your own room in a seperate warm newly painted house on the farm with a 23yo kiwi girl (who works for us).

We are 30 minutes between Taupo & Rotorua so a car would be useful (however we can provide one if needed), and kiwi driving experience preferred as you may occasionally be required to take the kids in one of our vehicles.

If this sounds like you get in touch!
