The INNBetween Lodge & Backpackers, Nelson's top rated Specialty Lodging accommodation provider on Trip Advisor is seeking a Front Desk superstar and Night Manager to assist the managers in the day to day running of our hostel.
This is a part-time position around 20 hours per week on Reception. You will be rostered on a rotating basis either 9am-2pm, or 2pm-7pm.
On top of this, which will cover the cost of your rent in-house in a self contained flat on-site, is Night Manager being on-site for late check-ins after 7pm and being available on-site should the fire alarms go off.
Ideally this would suit one person however we can roster the night manager position for two people and when off, we can provide accommodation in a mixed dorm.
Jobs include but not limited to:
- Greeting and checking in guests
- Dealing with general in-person, phone and email enquiries, reservations and local activity bookings so a knowledge of the Nelson/ Tasman area is an advantage but not a requirement
- Assisting in general cleaning when required
Requirements of this Position:
- Ability to work well in a team environment but also independently
- Ability to deal with difficult situations under pressure
- Time management skills
- Eye for detail
- Experience in the accommodation industry is preferred but not essential
- Working Holiday Visa / IRD Number / NZ Bank Account a must
