BAR MANAGER – THE FARMER’S DAUGHTER
Omaha, Northland | Full-time | Start ASAP
The Farmer’s Daughter is a busy coastal restaurant, bar and events venue in Omaha, Northland. We’re looking for an experienced Bar Manager to join our team for the upcoming summer season.
This is not a first-time management role — you must have previous experience managing a bar or leading a busy bar team.
You’ll be responsible for running the bar day-to-day, leading the bar team, keeping standards high and making sure service runs smoothly across our restaurant, weddings, events and busy summer trade.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing and leading the bar team
Running busy bar service and keeping service flowing
Training and supporting bar staff
Stock management, ordering and bar prep
Maintaining beverage quality and presentation
Managing opening and closing procedures
Monitoring wastage, stock levels and costs
Working closely with the FOH and kitchen management teams
Helping deliver weddings, private functions and large events
Creating a fun, professional and welcoming bar environment
We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager experience
Is confident leading a team
Can handle a busy service without losing their cool
Has strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and spirits
Is organised and commercially minded
Has excellent customer service skills
Is hands-on and happy to jump behind the bar
Has a great attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
