Chef – 2026/27 Season 🌿

Wilderness Lodge Lake Moeraki is a luxury wilderness lodge on the South Island’s West Coast, surrounded by ancient rainforest, lakes, mountains and wild beaches.

We’re looking for two experienced chefs to join our small kitchen team for the 2026/27 season, from mid September 2026 until late April 2027.

👨‍🍳 The role
You’ll be part of a hands-on kitchen team preparing high-quality meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients for our lodge guests. The level of responsibility will depend on your experience.

We’re looking for someone with:

-Commercial kitchen experience
-A passion for quality food
-Good teamwork and communication skills
-A positive, hands-on attitude
-Food safety knowledge
