Job Description
Hi we are looking for a motivated individual or couple with previous experience in caring for animals.
Position: Preparing & mixing milk and supplements, feeding calves, assisting slower calves, monitoring & assisting sick calves, mucking out calf shelters and replacing mulch, Ensuring clean water supply and cleaning feeding equipment. Morning and afternoon feeds (approx. 3 hours plus cleaning camp toilets and restocking supplies (ie we also have 2 campsites on the farm with campers coming in most nights).
Some Heavy Lifting involved. Must be fit & capable with a can do attitude able to work rain, hail or shine.
Full Training Available.
Accommodation Available ie Self Contained Farm Cottage.
What you will need: Warm clothes suitable for working on the farm, Rain Jacket & gumboots.
Wages: 25/Hour ie 4 x Hours/Day ie 9am to 10.30am and 4pm to 5.30pm plus 1 hour checking/cleaning campers & camp toilets = 100/day with 2 Days Off. Accommodation: 350 (Including power & water).
Immediate Start till 31st September or longer.
Location: 185 Acre Farm close to the Hunua Falls Reserve and ARC Park walkways & cycling trails, 45 Minutes to Auckland Airport and 60 Minutes to Auckland CBD. Hunua Vilage 2km, local vineyard and Clevedon Village Markets 15 Minutes Drive.
