Hours: Casual / Regular weekend availability essential (dates provided in advance)

About the Role:

We are seeking a polished, reliable, and adaptable Catering Assistant to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a premium, private paddock-to-plate dining experience set within our beautifully restored Historic Woolshed at Woodstone Farm.

This role requires someone who can seamlessly step in and confidently cover the lead caterer when required, maintaining the high standards and attention to detail our guests expect. Alongside our curated dining experiences, you will also support service during our on-site Farm Shows, contributing to a truly memorable and authentic rural hospitality offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality, farm-fresh food
• Confidently stepping into the lead caterer role when required, ensuring seamless service
• Delivering warm, professional, and attentive guest service
• Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
• Supporting event setup and pack-down to a high standard
• Upholding the overall guest experience and presentation of the venue

What We’re Looking For:

• A professional, well-presented individual with a genuine passion for hospitality
• The ability to work independently and take ownership when covering the lead role
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering a premium experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and flexibility, with availability for scheduled weekend work (dates provided in advance)
• Previous experience in catering, events, or hospitality (highly regarded)

Bookings with forward-planned weekend schedules. Winter bookings and events more short notice and less frequent, other work available over Winter period if needed.
