Orchid Nursery Horticulture

Apply now to join our friendly and enthusiastic team for the orchid flowering season, working across our glasshouse and packhouse. We are a proud family-run business and one of New Zealand’s leading orchid nurseries, supplying high-quality flowers both locally and internationally.

All work is indoors, providing consistent hours regardless of weather conditions. Tasks include plant care within the glasshouses and flower processing in the packing sheds. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. Our team is diverse and welcoming, and a good understanding of English is essential.

We offer seasonal contracts of 4–5 months, starting in April and finishing in late August. Applicants must be available for the full duration. The role guarantees 9–9.5 hours per day, five days a week (Monday to Friday).
