Experienced Au Pair Wanted - Private Unit On Rural Farm

We are a family living on a rural farm in South Waikato looking for an experienced au pair to help care for our three young children (all aged 6 and under). We are hoping to find someone warm, capable, and confident with young kids who would enjoy becoming part of our family for a while.

Start Date: July- September. (Flexible on dates, 4 week minimum)
Location: Rural farm, South Waikato

The role:
Your primary responsibility will be caring for our three children, helping with their daily routines and supporting a family household during the farms busy calving season. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and can take initiative when helping around the home.

Responsibilities include:
• Caring for and engaging with the children (play, activities, routines, farm walks)
• Helping with the younger children (1,3) while the 6 year old is homeschooled.
• Preparing simple meals for the children
• Light household tasks related to the kids (tidying toys, dishes, kids’ laundry)
• Occasional general household help

Requirements:
• Previous childcare or au pair experience preferred
• Confident caring for multiple young children
• Full driver’s licence required and comfortable driving on rural roads
• Responsible, organised, and reliable
• Non-smoker

Hours are flexible and can be negotiated depending on availability and what suits both parties.
