Apple And Kiwifruit Harvesters

We will be harvesting Apples & Kiwifruit from approx 10 March to approx mid April and we need a team of people to help us.

You need to be physically fit for this role.  We usually work an average of 8.5hrs per day Mon - Fri and 5.5 hours on Saturday morning. You need to have a positive attitude and enjoy working outside.

We offer a fantastic workplace culture in one of the premium coastal regions in the country. We have a 6 bed accommodation unit and van parking facilities available.  You need to be eligible to work in New Zealand and have a form of transport.

Pay rate starts at 24.50 + holiday pay and kiwisaver (eligibility required)

Our accommodation is charged at a competitive rate and we offer a reimbursement scheme based on successful completion of the harvest. Details will be provided through the application process.

Our orchard (and the accommodation) is located on the city limits of Gisborne.  We are within 7kms of the city centre, town beaches and the famous sunshine brewery. The roads north of Gisborne are currently undergoing repairs but are open. The roads south of Gisborne are open and in good condition.
