Job Description
Good Crops is a New Zealand family-owned business that has been developing and managing kiwifruit orchards for 25 years.
We operate across multiple sites from Opotiki to Te Puke during the harvest season, allowing for an early start and more consistent work. Harvest will run from approximately the 9th of March to the 15th of May.
Good Crops offers a positive team environment with supportive supervisors and well organised crews, and we are looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our harvest team!
Picking is an active outdoor role and workers are required to be:
Physically fit - Picking bags can weigh 15kg+ when full.
Flexible - Start and finish times can change due to weather and fruit maturity.
Able to follow instructions and work well within a team.
No previous experience required - All training will be provided.
Pay:
Fruit is picked in teams.
You will be paid per bin as a team
Starting rate: 26 - 32 per bin, size dependent
Accomodation:
Affordable accomodation is available for staff travelling in cars or vans, located close to picking sites.
Camp facilities include:
Bathrooms and hot showers
Kitchen
Communal spaces
Parking
Cost: 70pp, per week.

Valid NZ working visa
