We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic member to join us at Manowhenua Lodge Hostel, a family-oriented backpackers nestled in the beautiful village of Waimarino (National Park), right in the central plateau.
This role is ideal for someone who is independent, hands-on, sociable, and appreciates the peace and beauty of the natural outdoors. Your responsibilities will include cleaning, making beds, preparing breakfast (only on demand), and performing various related tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly attitude, present themselves well, and consistently deliver outstanding service. You should be able to work independently, demonstrate reliability, and pay close attention to detail. A minimum commitment of two months is required, with previous hospitality experience preferred.
Proficiency in English is essential for this role. Please note that applicants must have legal authorisation to work in New Zealand.
Our Backpackers is centrally located in the heart of Waimarino, just moments from the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and the breathtaking landscapes of UNESCO’s Tongariro National Park.
