Opportunity for Tourism/Agri-Business Graduate

Simon’s Hill is a working Mackenzie Country station located equidistant from Tekapo and Twizel townships and a short 20 minutes drive from both. While our foundation purpose is to run merino sheep and beef, we also offer two accommodation options which we are wishing to develop further.

We have an opportunity for a recent graduate or current tourism student to assist us with daily operations with a view to identifying opportunities to grow our agribusiness offering.

Tasks include managing and growing online bookings, daily servicing and presentation of accommodations, Guest management, marketing and advertising (and identifying market segments to leverage further) and you will be supported to assist business development further.

To top up the hours that this position offers, delivering basic tutoring support following prescribed and provided NZ curriculum resources for the first six months for our daughter at year 5 level will assist our day-to-day homesteading operation.
