Job Description
We are a very busy cafe in Waitakaruru which is on the corner of highway 2 and Highway 25 leading to the Coromandel peninsular. We are 20 minutes from Thames, 1 hour from Auckland, 1 hour from Hamilton and 1&1/2 hours from Tauranga.
We need a cook to replace Bridget, who is moving towns.
You will have experience of cooking menu items such as burgers, salads, breakfast such as eggs benedict as well as preparation for service. You must be able to work as part of a team, be efficient and able to take orders. We will provide training if you are a bit rusty.
Lunch is provided and as much coffee as you can drink!
You will need to have a van for sleeping in, but we provide a shower/toilet and common room with T.V. as well as a small kitchenette and there is plenty of room to camp in privacy.
There is plenty of work available and up to 8 hour shifts, no night work.
If you are a couple, there is work for you both, either in the kitchen or front of house!

The Corner Stone Cafe is a large cafe set in the rural area of Waitakaruru.
We are open 7 days/week 7.30-3pm excluding Public Holidays.
We are situated at the gateway to the beautiful Coromandel and, as we are on the corner of State Highway 2 and State Highway 25, we are also on the way to Hamilton, Tauranga and Auckland
The Corner Stone cafe is dedicated to giving our customers the best experience while they relax either inside, or out in one of our garden areas , before they resume their journey.
