Handyman / Maintenance Person
The Gables Bed & Breakfast – Picton
The Gables, a well-established bed and breakfast in the coastal town of Picton, is looking for a reliable and versatile handyman to assist with the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the property.
This role would suit someone practical, hands-on, and experienced across a range of building and maintenance tasks, who is happy to work closely with the owner and take pride in keeping the property in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
General maintenance and repairs around the B&B
Painting and decorating (interior and exterior)
Basic building and carpentry work
Assisting with renovation and improvement projects
Ad-hoc jobs as required to support the smooth running of the property
About You:
Proven experience in painting, building, and general maintenance
A practical problem-solver with a flexible, can-do attitude
Able to work independently as well as alongside the owner
Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
Previous experience in hospitality or similar settings is a bonus but not essential
