Watermelon Picking

We are currently looking for members to join our Watermelon Picking team starting around 16th December, lasting for 3 - 4 months.
This is the start of NZ summer season when our watermelons start ripening so its an exciting time of year for our team!
Our growing sites stretch from Awanui (just out of Kaitaia, a couple of hours from Cape Reinga) right down to Ruawai near Dargaville; a handy base if you’re keen to make the most of Northland’s beaches on your days off!

We are looking for members to join our team who:
- have experience in physical farmwork roles
- physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
- have a positive and keen to learn attitude
- Teamplayer: are passionate and willing to pitch in to work with the team. Able to work effectively with others to achieve targets together.
- Able to work under pressure to achieve KPI's
- Diligent and accurate

We grow and pack a range of crops including kumara and melons and have positions available for part time and longer term hires. If applying, please let us know your desired role type and weeks/months you would like to work.
