Barista, Bagel Chef and Customer Service - Kaikoura - Start early Feb 2026

We’re on the lookout for an experienced cafe worker to join our passionate team in beautiful Kaikōura.
If you love great coffee, fresh food, and working in a fast-paced, friendly environment – this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for crafting top-quality espresso coffee, preparing our signature bagels, and serving up amazing customer service. As well as helping to keep the café running smoothly day to day. We take pride in serving consistently delicious food and drinks, and we’re looking for someone who shares that same attention to detail and care.

Key Responsibilities:
Making excellent espresso coffee with efficiency and consistency
Preparing and assembling bagels and cabinet food
Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming café environment
Assisting with restocking, cleaning, and other café duties as needed
Providing friendly, genuine customer service

We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Has previous barista experience
Is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in presentation and quality
Works well under pressure and enjoys being part of a small team
Has flexibility with rostered shifts (including weekends)
