Restaurant Manager

Fiordland Lodge has a rare opportunity for an exceptional Guest Service professional.

We are recruiting for an outstanding ‘Restaurant Manager’ to work at our Award Winning small Luxury Lodge

You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of our acclaimed on-site restaurant, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. Based in the stunning location of Te Anau, Southland, this is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute to the continued success of Fiordland Lodge.


The ideal candidate will have:

Impeccable presentation

A passion for the hospitality industry and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service

Experience in a restaurant at Supervisory/Management level. Current Supervisors with higher aspirations are encouraged to apply.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team

Be part of recruitment - train, and coach front-of-house staff to deliver luxury service standards

Personable and enagaing with our guests from all over the world

Must be able to commit for the whole Season (until April 2026)



This is a ‘hands on’ role that requires you to be in front of our guests hosting and anticipating their needs. This role also includes some Duty Manager shifts.
