Job Description

We are situated in an historic boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Currently the menu is in the style of that of an international hotel menu. We are in the process of transitioning to a Mediterranean menu with a focus on fresh, seasonal dishes supporting small artisan NZ producers where possible. We are having a refit, rebrand & relaunch in October.

We are looking to increase the team to help support them over the busy season. We have a warm, friendly, family like team.

The ideal candidate will be someone with experience in cooking Mediterranean cuisine and in a perfect world will be a calm, happy, reliable person. We are looking for a minimum of 2-3 years' experience at CDP level.

The role is until the 23rd of December and the candidate must have the legal right to work in NZ without sponsorship.

De Bretts Kitchen is located within a luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Auckland city. The restaurant is located on the first floor and has a wonderful Atrium area, internal courtyard and an historic house bar.
It is open from 7am until 9pm daily with food and beverage available throughout the day.
