Job Description
KAIKOURA - animal care, housekeeping, DIY, projects, gardening.
Initially a voluntary exchange for an individual, or a couple, (two private double bedrooms, and a single bed shepherd hut) - two positions - starting end August 2024 (or soon after).
60+ animals to look after, six unusual rental units to clean (yurt, tipi, train carriage, etc), large vegetable garden (you can enjoy what we all produce), DIY and projects.
FREE on-site private accommodation included with: laundry, heating + living-basics, and electricity, staff shared: shower-room, kitchen, and common room (with sofa, large TV, blu-ray, surround system, 800+ movies). Free unlimited wi-fi.
Location = 1km from river walk/cycle route, 3km from beach, 4km from mountains, 4km from Kaikoura town centre.
Work = EITHER: Five hours/day, seven days/week, OR: seven hours/day, for five days, so two days off, per week.
$70/week cash allowance each for food, topped up by free on-site food. Increases to $100/week after a month.
Salaried positions available (if you have WHV and IRD etc?) when the summer season starts: Somewhere between October -December!
