Job For Animal Lovers

JOB FOR ANIMAL LOVERS (Kaikoura, South Island, NZ) = animal care, housekeeping, customer service, DIY & projects, gardening.
I am looking for ONE PERSON to join my small team.
Your work is really varied, including:
- 50+ farm animals - (llama, pigs, sheep, deer, alpaca, birds, collie dogs) - general care, preparing food buckets & feeding, introducing to guests, cleaning animal areas.
- housekeeping (six unusual rental units = yurt, tipi, train carriage, colonial wagon, house truck, farmers cottage). www.wackystays.co.nz
- gardening = six raised vegetable beds, herb garden, rainwater collection, on-site composting. We grow organically from seeds.
- off-site Llama Trekking (once you have worked here for two months, you can learn to be a trekking guide). www.llamatekking.co.nz
- maintenance & DIY (eg: painting, fence mending, hedge cutting, repairing cages, fixing anything that breaks - the list is endless!)
The team (two in winter, up to five in summer) have daily resource meetings; and share a seven day roster = five days working & two days off per week - includes weekend working.
If needed, on-site accommodation costs: $149 (single) per week, and includes: all bills, laundry, wi-fi; staff shared (kitchen, bathroom, common room). Food is not included, although I provide tea, coffee, etc. and you can help yourself from the orchard (apples, pears, plums, peaches, grapefruit, orange, walnuts), herb garden and organic vegetables from the nine raised beds (which you help look after, and enjoy what we grow).
There are FOUR ways to get started here, depending on your visa status and previous experience (listed above): #1 wwoof'ing (20hrs/wk), 30+hrs/wk (#2 trainee, #3 limited experience, #4 solid experience). Work contracts are: Part-time (paid for the hours you work, fixed term, summer season). Those with working holiday visa, IRD#, and bank accounts receive salary stepping up to $27/hr (after four months, including holiday pay supplement).
You MUST currently have: Flights booked to NZ, or live in NZ, or be a resident/citizen, or have a working holiday visa. Preference will be given to those offering to stay long-term, but woof'ing and shorter term is also available.
