We are a self employed dairy farmers living in Central Canterbury. We are looking for someone to join our small family in July and to stay with us for four to six months.
The role will be varied with the main aspect of the job looking after Em while we are both on farm. Em is in daycare three days a week (9-3) so over that time the time is yours or your more then welcome to join me on farm and experience something different for the day. We would appreciate it if her weekly activities are kept up with, music and movement & swimming. There will also be lambs to feed and dogs to walk/throw ball for. We also ask that a little bit of tidying up is done, laundry hung out/brought in (only if I haven't got to it yet) and if theres a bit of meal prep that needs doing.
We will provide all your meals, unlimited wifi, a warm bedroom with a comfortable queen bed & a bathroom that is just shared with Em. There will also be a small car available for your use on your days off & for driving Em around.
We are centrally located with our nearest town of Ashburton being 10 minutes away & christchurch a hour fifteen. There is some great hikes 40 minutes away as well.
We ask that you have a full drivers license and first aid certificate or atleast be willing to obtain one (we will reimburse the cost). Hours for this role will vary & are negiotable to suit the applicant. Min of 20 hours a week.
