Job Description

Sealord is a New Zealand based global seafood enterprise with a world-wide fishing, processing and marketing network that leads the seafood industry in the careful and sustainable management of fish and seafood resources.

Sealord is again recruiting for dedicated seasonal staff to be considered for various positions in our land-based factory in Nelson during Hoki season 2020.

The season runs from mid May until the end of September 2020 so being able to commit to this time frame is essential.

The shifts are:

•day shift 6:00am to 3.30pm, (includes one hour voluntary overtime) Monday to Friday
•afternoon Shift - 4pm to 1am, (includes one hour voluntary overtime) Monday to Friday
•night shift - cleaning roles only 10pm to 6am
•there will be also be additional voluntary weekend work when required.

To be considered you will:

•be 100% committed to health and safety
•be able to work with continuous processing
•have good time management skills
•have good hand to eye coordination
•be physically able to do heavy lifting (for some roles only)
•have good knife skills (beneficial not essential).

Training for all positions will be provided based on your experience and the available positions include:

•General Hand
•Machine Operator
•Experienced Forklift Driver
•Industrial Cleaners.
