We have a number of positions available to start mid-late December till late January - early February. As cherry harvest is an extremely busy environment, work hours will vary. Hours of work will generally be 10 hour days, six days per week and you will get one day off per week which will be varied.
The position requires:
- An ability to work in a team environment
- An ability to work under pressure at all times
- Great communication skills both written and verbal.
The responsibilities of a Transporter will include:
- Transporting fruit to packhouse with ute and trailer.
- Transporting bins and buckets to the orchard from the packhouse.
- Orchard setup
This position requires a clean drivers licence and experience driving a ute and trailer (must be able to drive a manual vehicle).
